Another key Malinauskas Labor Government election commitment is being delivered with the return of suburbs to the shared CBD high school zone.

The Adelaide Botanic High School expansion is at risk of grinding to a halt if the Adelaide City Council does not adhere to its commitment to the State Government.

Local MP, Jayne Stinson says the planned development features a number of elements:

“It’s all centred around a market square which is focused on local food and wine, artisan produce – also there is going to be this thing called an urban farm which is actually an elevated green space and a school that goes with it, up to 250 students will be able to come and study who are interested in the food and wine sector.”

A $250 million food-orientated retail and residential project, featuring South Australia’s first roof top urban farm will transform one of Adelaide’s last remaining vacant city fringe locations.
